About Us

Hi, I’m Nazzy!

I am a warrior mom who overcame a long-term struggle with infertility while living with a chronic illness. During my long and grueling struggle, trying to come to terms with both issues, I went through a period of depression where my mental health suffered.

One day I had an impulse to search for positive success stories and found many forums which had articles by women who had successfully conceived despite their own chronic illnesses. Finding these positive stories gave me the little spark of hope I needed to carry on. The mind is a powerful tool and I often wonder how I functioned in life without learning this lesson sooner.

Gracebynazzy® was created from the faith I held onto throughout the storm. We can all use a little Grace and changing how I looked at my circumstances was instrumental in my journey. I found that daily positive affirmations, keeping a gratitude journal and a planner, and practicing mindfulness and stress management techniques supported me throughout my wellness journey.

In 2022, I was blessed with my miracle baby. Pregnancy after infertility was harder than I expected and I soon discovered that the impact infertility has on your mental health does not amazingly disappear after pregnancy. Motherhood felt isolating. I was often hard on myself and dealt with mom’s guilt and other struggles. However, I reverted to what helped me conceive in the first place and I was able to use these techniques to manage stress and improve my overall health.

Luckily, I discovered that being gentle with yourself matters, and as soon as I got back to practicing self-care I felt significantly better and conceived my second baby boy! I hope that I can now help others who are struggling, to navigate life with more ease and peace.
